Mission Statement/Membership Conditions

Mission Statement



The Arts and Culture Leadership Alliance of CNY (ACLA) works in concert with the Cultural Resources Council to unify local arts and culture institutions to advocate for a cohesive community that strengthens the livability and economic vitality of Central New York.


Membership Conditions

1. Member organizations are 501(c)(3) arts and culture agencies in Central New York.

2. The official ACLA representative for each agency is designated by the agency.

3. Representatives agree to attend a minimum of four ACLA meetings annually.

4. Completion of the ACLA Membership Application is required of each member organization.


Members may also choose to do any of the following (these are not conditions for membership, only informal additional considerations):

· Member agencies are asked to acknowledge their ACLA membership when publishing/speaking on general arts and culture issues in CNY.

· Member agencies are willing to be listed in ACLA public relations materials.
